Shakib-Ashraful not able to participate in the Asian Legends League as BCB denies NOC
Despite not having any contracts, the former cricketers need Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) permission to play this tournament. BDCricTime comes to know that, BCB didn't let any former player to participate in this tournament, while BCB might take step if anyone participates.

The Asian Legends League Cricket begins from March 5. Total 5 teams will participate in this tournament. Bangladesh too have a team with former cricketers. But BCB is not giving NOC, which made crisis.
Despite not having any contracts, the former cricketers need Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) permission to play this tournament. BDCricTime comes to know that, BCB didn't let any former player to participate in this tournament, while BCB might take step if anyone participates.
Mohammad Ashraful would have led Bangladesh Tigers in this tournament. While there are Indian Royals, Afghanistan Pathans, Sri Lankan Lions. And then another team was proposed to be Asian Stars and Bangladesh legendary all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was set to play for the Asian Stars.
Bangladesh dashing opener Tamim Iqbal too was in the Bangladesh Tigers squad. Also Naim Islam, Nadif Chowdhury, Ariful Haque, Ziaur Rahman, Nazimuddin, Tushar Imran, Dheeman Ghosh, Mehedi Maruf, Abul Hasan Razu, Mukter Ali, Elias Sunny, Zubair Hossain Likhon, Shafiul Islam, Alok Kapali were included in that squad.
Asian Stars would had started the proceedings by playing the tournament opener on March 10. While Bangladesh Tigers had a match to play on March 12. But Bangladesh former players might not participate in this tournament, since the board didn’t give any NOC.
