At the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura, Barishal posted a competitive 289 runs against Dhaka, with Sohag Gazi’s unbeaten 78 and Fazle Mahmud’s 64 leading the charge. Gazi smashed six sixes in his innings, while Fazle anchored the top order with a measured knock.

Barishal’s middle order crumbled briefly, but late contributions from Moinul Islam and Tanvir Islam helped the team reach a respectable total.
