Meanwhile, experienced bowling coach Sarwar Imran who also worked with Rubel Hossain earlier in his career thinks Rubel did not bowl to his strength on both occasions and that was the reason why he failed to deliver his best.
"Firstly his yorkers did not land perfectly and instead it was pitched on the length that helped the batsman to play his shots,'' Sarwar Imran was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
Imran also said the right armer was lacking accuracy in his bowling. "It was not accurate and that is largely due to lack of skill as well as doubts over own ability. When a bowler wants to bowl a yorker, there cannot be any doubts and while he is going through the run-up, all his focus needs to be in executing it,'' he added.
"Perhaps he was thinking that what will happen if it is not pitched on [in] the right area, and [that] probably played a big part,'' Imran observed.
