India's wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant took to his official X handle to share an inspirational message in the wake of India's unexpected defeat to New Zealand in the first Test of the three-match series at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

However, the hosts put up a great fight in the second innings but that wasn't enough for them to sail through. New Zealand got the better of India by 8 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Pant, who scored a gritty 99 off 105 in the second innings, expressed resilience and optimism after the disappointing result. Posting on X, he acknowledged the challenges that come with the game and vowed to bounce back in the upcoming game, which is scheduled to be held on October 24.
"This game will test your limits, knock you down, lift you up and throw you back again. But those who love it rise stronger every time," he wrote, encapsulating the emotional highs and lows experienced during a hard-fought contest.
The Roorkee-born also took a moment to thank the Bengaluru supporters for their unwavering enthusiasm. He acknowledged the fans' role in lifting the team's spirits even during tough times.
"Thanks to the amazing Bengaluru crowd for the love, support and cheers. We will be back stronger," he wrote.
