If the pages of the record book of cricket are turned around – the name of Talha Jubair occupies a little space out there, a name that might not sound familiar to modern day cricket followers of Bangladesh. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ তালহা জুবায়েরকে আইসিসির স্মরণ] Being contemporary of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Talha Jubair also once considered to be one of the most promising fast bowlers of Bangladesh but destiny outcast him from the scenario of any sort cricket long before. Talha had not appeared in any form of cricket since 2014 when he played his last domestic match. He was not even seen playing domestic one day international match after 2013. As the esteemed ICC tournament, the Champions Trophy is commencing, International Cricket Council is uncovering many impressive as well as trifle records of the tournament. Lanky and tall Talha Jubair debuted in international cricket at a tender age of 16. He made Test debut in 2012 against Sri Lanka. Talha made a 4 wicket haul against South Africa in his second ODI match. Early injuries ruined his career in a bud. Once Caribbean pace giant appreciated the teenage pace prodigy saying someday he could deliver up to 90 mph if he would be able to manage his physique properly. Unfortunately for Bangladesh cricket, Talha Jubair was never been able to regain his initial sharpness after recovering from injuries that made him feeble for international cricket.
