Muthuthanthirige Nuwanidu Keshawa Fernando born 13 October 1999 is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Panadura Sports Club on 28 December 2016 in the 2016–17 Premier League tournament.

Domestic & Franchise Career
In December 2017 he was called up to the Sri Lanka squad for the 2018 U19 Cricket World Cup. In August 2018 he was called up to Dambulla's squad for the 2018 SLC T20 League.
In October 2018, he was the top run scorer for Sri Lanka at the 2018 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup with 195 runs in five games. He made his Twenty20 debut for Badureliya Sports Club at the 2018–19 SLC Twenty20 tournament on February 18, 2019. He made his List A debut on December 14, 2019 for Sinhala Sports Club at the 2019 Invitation Limited Over tournament– 20 In October 2020, he was drafted by the Jaffna Stallions for the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League.
In March 2021, he was part of the Sinhala Sports Club team that won the 2020–21 SLC Twenty20 tournament, the first time they had won the tournament since 2005. In August 2021, he was named to the SLC Grays team for the 2021 SLC Invitational T20 League tournament. In November 2021, he was selected following the players' draft for the 2021 Lanka Premier League to play for the Colombo Stars.
In April 2022, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named him to their Sri Lanka Emerging Team squad for their tour to England.
On May 29, Nuwanidu scored his first T20 Century against Gloucestershire. He hit 126 unbeaten carries, hitting 14 boundaries and four sixes. His tapping helped put 205 runs on the board and the Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI team won the game by 67 runs.
In July 2022 he was signed by the Galle Gladiators for the third edition of the Lanka Premier League.
On December 12, 2022 against the Kandy Falcons, Nuwanidu scored his third T20 half century. First half century in Lanka Premiere League. He put 113 run partnership with Thanuka Dabare for the fifth wicket.
He scored another half century on December 19, 2022 against Dambulla Aura. He notched 63 runs in which he hit three limits and five sixes.
International Career
The following month he was named in Sri Lanka's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Australia. In June 2022, he was called up to the Sri Lanka A squad for their games against Australia A during the Australia tour of Sri Lanka.
