Phil Salt to lead England in Australia T20I series as Buttler ruled out of the high-octane series

England white-ball captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of Australia three-match T20I series due to a right calf injury. Explosive opener Phil Salt has been named captain of England T20I team.
Phil Salt will lead England T20I team in absence of Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler sustained a right calf injury and that has ruled him out of the upcoming three-match match T20I series, starting from September 11. Buttler's right calf injury also puts him in doubt for the five-game ODI series that follows.
Explosive top order batter Phil Salt will lead England T20I team. Salt has a jaw dropping records in T20I's, he has scored 885 runs at a whopping strike-rate of 165.11 in 31 T20Is so far.
All-rounder Jamie Overton has been added as Buttler's replacement in the T20I squad. In addition, batter Jordan Cox has been added to the ODI squad as cover.
