Australian captain Pat Cummins has reached to 500 international wickets. The Aussie ace pacer has reached this feat during the Pink Test against India.
Pat Cummins removed Washington Sundar and Jasprit Bumrah to reach to 500 wickets in international Cricket. Cummins has picked up two wickets in the first innings, scalping Washington Sundar and Indian skipper Jasprit Bumrah as India were all-out for 185 runs. Bumrah's wicket helped Cummins get to his 500 wickets in international Cricket.
After making his international debut back in 2011, Cummins has represented Australia in 67 Tests, 90 ODI's and 57 T20I's over the years.
In Test Cricket over the 67 Tests, he has a tally of 291 wickets at an average of only 22.52, including 13 fifers and 17 four-fers with the career-best bowling figure of 6/23.
In the ODI Cricket, Cummins has racked up 143 wickets at an average of just 28.78 and an economy rate of 5.27, including a sole fifer against India and six four-fers.
While he has sneaked in away with 66 T20I wickets across the 57 matches including the career-best bowling figure of 3/15.
Cummins has led Australia to their triumph of World Test Championship at the Oval in England beating India, while he also captained his side to their sixth World Cup title in 2023 beating India infront of India's home crowd at Ahmedabad.
