Khulna Tigers have beaten Durdanto Dhaka by 5 wickets on Friday (16th February) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Wayne Parnell's 3 fer with just 4.8 economy and unbeaten 43* from Afif helped Khulna cruise pass over Dhaka.

At the backend of the chase, Afif Hossain's firing 43 aided Khulna reach home comfortably. 
Chasing 129, Khulna faltered earlier the powerplay infront of the new ball as Shoriful Islam was bowling a probing spell. His spell rewarded him with two openers. And Khulna slided to 17-2. Parvez Hossain Emon and Shai Hope stitched a partnership and handled the initial blow carefully. The stand was worth of 49 runs which helped Khulna to get back the track.

However Taskin Ahmed removed Shai Hope after his fine 32 off 28 balls. After a while Emon too fell and Khulna fell into trouble. Afif then came and teared apart Dhaka with his blitzkrieg innings. He raced to 43 off only 21 deliveries and took his side home with 5 wickets to spare.

Wayne Parnell was the man of the match for his outstanding spell as his bowling decimated Durdanto Dhaka's batting lineup and wrapped the innings for a paltry 128.
