Pakistan thrashed England by 9 wickets to clinch their maiden Test series victory at home since 2021. The two unlikely heroes - Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, who accounted for 40 and 39 wickets respectively in across the two Tests were remarkable and the basement behind Pakistan's comeback after being 0-1 in the series.

Pakistan started the day with a ripper as they removed Harry Brook earlier on, and then Ben Stokes was trapped LBW by Noman Ali. Sajid Khan came and knocked over Jamie Smith and Noman Ali then removed Joe Root to come all over the visitors.

England were bundled out for a paltry 112 runs and managed to get just 35 runs lead. Noman Ali was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 6 wickets, whilst Sajid Khan had 4 wickets to his name behind this collapse of Bazball.

In reply of just 36, Pakistan lost Saim Ayub to Jack Leach on a LBW. But captain Shan Masood came with all the guns blazing to hammer 4 boundaries on the trot, including a six to help Pakistan get over the line and helped them get their maiden Test series victory since 2021.

The series victory came after a series of courage decisions from the PCB selection committee as they dropped underperforming Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah from the Test lineup and brought in Sajid Khan, Noman Ali and Kamran Ghulam, who all stood tall to hand a historic victory.
