Pakistan have beaten England by 152 runs in the second Test to end their 11-match winless streak at home. Spinners Noman Ali and Sajid Khan were the cult heroes behind this historic victory as all the 20 wickets were picked up by this duo. Pakistan have levelled the series by 1-1, with one more Test to go.
Noman Ali ran riot through the English batters and returned with a terrific figure of 8-46.
England needed 261 runs and they had 8 wickets in their hands. The odds were against them, since the pitch was favoring spinners with ball keeping low and skidding much. Sajid Khan removed Ollie Pope in the second over of the day and then Noman Ali entered to the arena and he never let the spotlight get away from him.
He absolutely ran riot through the English middle order, surging a stack of wickets and Noman had his fifer after stumping England's top scorer Ben Stokes.
England deployed many sweeps and reverse sweeps but these were high risks on these kind of surfaces and Noman Ali didn't put a wrong foot as he ended up picking up eight-fer.
Pakistan made a series of gambles ahead of the Test and those gambles paid off, as the spin duo Noman and Sajid shared all 20 wickets between them and this is the first time since 1972 that two bowlers have shared all 20 wickets for their team in a Test match.
