Australia have announced a 13-men squad for the upcoming high-voltage Border-Gavaskar Trophy, commences from November 22. Nathan McSweeney will make his Test debut in the first match as thr opener, while wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis too got surprise call-up to the Test lineup.

Nathan McSweeney was the top scorer during the first tour game against India A in Mackay, racking up 39 and 88* in the seven wicket win over India A. It is certain that he'll make debut as the other opener of the Aussie lineup, along with Usman Khawaja. Scott Boland is the sole backup quick in the squad. Josh Inglis too got a nod from the selection panel to bat down the order.

Pat Cummins (Captain), Scott Boland, Alex Carey (Wicketkeeper), Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis (Wicketkeeper), Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitch Marsh, Nathan McSweeney, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc.
McSweeney appears certain to play, with Bailey saying today: "Nathan has displayed the attributes we believe will equip him well for Test cricket along with a strong recent record in domestic cricket.
"His performances for South Australia and Australia A weighed in his favour and supports our view he is ready for the opportunity at Test level.
"Similarly, Josh has been in great touch in the Sheffield Shield competition and deserves his place in his first Test squad."
The Aussie quartet Steve Smith, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc will miss today's clash against Pakistan in the decider ODI match due to the preparatory reasons of the first Test and wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis is set to lead a youthful XI in the third ODI.
The first Test commences from November 22 at Optus Stadium in Perth.
