Bangladesh girls did not start well in Australia series at home. Bangladesh women's team started the ODI series by losing by a huge margin of 118 runs. Tigresses' weakness in batting was seen in the match.
In response to the total of 213 runs that the Aussie girls put up with the bat earlier, the girls of Bangladesh picked up a total of 95 runs. In between, Sultana Jyoti, Fahima Khatun and Ritu Moni - three batters were run out. In the end, Bengal girls lost 8 wickets out of only 25 runs. At the end of the match, Tiger spinner Nahida Akhter blamed that runout.
In the press conference after the match, Nahida said, 'If I say the difference is the bowling, it has been a little worse. (We) can do better than that. We fell behind due to 2-3 runouts in batting. (That) may be part of cricket. Will be good, will be bad. Sometimes they were set, they became a pair, if they broke it earlier, the picture would have been different.
Aussie girls are now leading 1-0 in the three-match ODI series. The second match of the series will be on March 24.
