Bangladesh have been poor in the ongoing three match T20I series against USA, as they are trailing by 2-0. However, the Tigers seem to have found their feet in the third match, as the away side bundled out USA for a sub par 104 in the final game.
The star of the show has been Mustafizur Rahman, who has spearheaded the bowling attack today. The left arm pacer picked up 6 wickets in his 4 overs while giving away only 10 runs. His spell consisted of a maiden over as well.
Mustafizur started the proceeding in his first over, when he removed opener Shayan Jahangir by a short pitched delivery onto the stumps, as the batter mistimed the pull shot and hits it straight to the backward square leg fielder. Then Mustafizur got Nitish Kumar nicking to the keeper in his second over.
Mustafiz came back in the 18th over and went ahead to knocking off van Schalkwyk and Corey Anderson. Then Mustafizur finished his wonderful spell by removing Jasdeep Singh and Nisharg Patel to end up with 6 wickets, the highest for a Bangladeshi bowler in a T20I game.
This spell is Mustafizur's 2nd five wicket haul in T20I cricket, the first one coming at 2016 against New Zealand.
