Mohammedan Sporting Club have become the champion in this year's Dhaka Premier Division Women's Cricket League. In the last match of the league stage, Mohammedan confirmed the title by defeating the previous champion Rupali Bank Krira Parishad by 46 runs. In another match, Abahani Limited won against Gulshan Youth Club and became the runners-up.  

Had Mohammedan managed to escape a crushing defeat in the league's final game, they would have been crowned champions. But they took on the persona of heroes and became champions. They won the most recent game by 46 runs, making them the league's unbeaten champions. Nineteen matches were won by them.

Mohammedan scored 249 after batting first on BKSP-3 ground on Wednesday (June 12). Ayesha Rahman played an innings of 72 runs off 88 balls for the team. Besides, Sobhana Mostary played an innings of 68 runs off 91 balls. Coming down to reply, Rupali Bank stopped at the head of 203 runs. Fargana Hoque scored the highest 65 runs off 109 balls for the team. But Rupali Bank were 46 runs short in the end.

Following the game, BCB Women's Wing Chairman Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel was the main guest during a prize presentation event held to honor the winners.
