Malinga returns in Sri Lanka Team

Lasith Malinga has been rarely seen international cricket in recent years due to injury one after another. Finally he will be seen in National duty again after more than a year. [Read in Bangla: অবশেষে জাতীয় দলে ফিরলেন মালিঙ্গা]

The right handed slinging action bowler injured himself during the Asia Cup Twenty/20 tournament February, last year. The Sri Lankan has been recovering from the injury since then. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has announced his name in their squad for the upcoming Twenty/20 series against the Australia Cricket Team. Three match Twenty/20 series will start from 17th of February in Australia. Angello Mathews the Regular captain of Sri Lanka will miss the series for his injury. Top Order batsman Upul Tharanga will lead the side in his absence. The first match of the series will be played in Melbourne in 17 February. Sri Lanka Squad- Upul Tharanga (capt), Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Asela Gunaratna, Dilshan Munaweera, Kusal Mendis, Milinda Siriwardana, Sachith Pathirana, Chamara Kapugedara, Seekkuge Prasanna, Nuwan Kulasekara, Isuru Udana, Dasun Shanaka, Lakshan Sandakan, Lasith Malinga, Vikum Sanjaya.
