India are on the driver's seat after day 1 in Dharamsala test. They bundled England all out for 218, with Kuldeep Yadav's magical fifer. And then they came out to race through 135, losing just one wicket.

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to bat first. Coming out to bat, they had a great start as their openers were free flowing and going strongly. The openers added 64 runs in no time before Kuldeep Yadav removed Ben Duckett. But the other opener Zak Crawley was in ominous touch and he stood tall for England.

Ollie Pope couldn’t stand high as they was stumped off Kuldeep Yadav. Joe Root had a start and scored 26 off 56 balls but Ravindra Jadeja got him out. Zak Crawley single handedly was carrying the innings and he scored a fluent 79 off 108 balls before being knocked over from Kuldeep Yadav.

Ben Stokes had a 6 ball duck and England collapsed horribly. They slipped their chances from 173-3 to 176-6 and that's where they lost the plot. Kuldeep Yadav's magical fifer and Ravichandran Ashwin's 4 wicket haul helped India tear apart England for a paltry 218 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma started bang in reply of 218 runs. It was Jaiswal doing all the talking for India again. He gave India a flying start which brought the momentum to batting. The English spinners fell into a dead sea infront of the opening Indian duo. They added 104 runs in no time before Jaiswal threw his wicket away scoring composed 57 off 58 balls.

India are now 135-1 and trailing England by just 83 runs. Rohit Sharma is standing tall on 52* off 83 and India will be looking to bat England out of the match tomorrow.
