Royal Challengers Bangaluru have beaten Punjab Kings by 7 wickets on Sunday (April 20). Brilliant bowling from Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma restricted PBKS for 157 runs. In response, Virat Kohli's unbeaten 73* off 54 balls and Devdutt Padikkal's excellent 61 off 35 deliveries helped RCB remain unbeaten away from home.

Being inserted to bat first, PBKS had a steady start, adding 42 runs inside 4.2 overs before the departure of Priyansh Arya after his 22 off 15 balls. Romario Shepherd then got Shreyas Iyer rid off cheaply. Krunal Pandya had opener Prabhsimran Singh after his good start as PBKS fell into deep trouble.


However, wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis stood tall amid collapse as he scored 29 off 17 deliveries but Suyash Sharma had him out as PBKS managed to get only 157 runs on the board.

In response, Arshdeep Singh removed Phil Salt cheaply as PBKS were pumped up. But Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal steadied the ship for the RCB, as the duo added a massive 103-run stand together before the departure of Padikkal after his outstanding knock of 61 off 35 deliveries. But Virat Kohli remained unbeaten as he played an incredible 73* off just 54 deliveries and helped the RCB remain unbeaten away from home.
