They posted a world-record 490/4 and 418 in the first two matches against Ireland. Previously, South Africa men were the only team with two consecutive 400-plus totals. Kerr and Leigh Kasperek put on 295 runs for the second-wicket, the highest partnership for the second-wicket in women's ODIs. Kasperek scored 113 off 105 balls including 10 fours. Kerr became the joint third-youngest (17 years and 243 days) female to score an ODI hundred. She became the first woman to score a double hundred in this format after Belinda Clark, who had scored 229* against Denmark in Mumbai in 1997. Kerr surpassed Clark's record with her 232* runs from 145 deliveries. The 17-year-old broke the record with two fours and one six in last three balls of New Zealand's innings. Apart from two sixes, Kerr hit 31 fours which is the highest in women's ODIs and second-best behind Rohit Sharma's 33 when he hit 264 in 2014. Kerr was not done yet in the match as she took her maiden five-wicket haul - 5/17 in seven overs. She became the first cricketer to score a double century and take a five-for in the same ODI match. Previously, none managed to take a wicket in the same match they scored 200, both in men's cricket and women's cricket. New Zealand knocked down Ireland to 135 in 44 overs sealing a 305-run victory. They became the first team to win by 300-plus runs in three consecutive matches.
