Towhid Hridoy has shown his potential to the international arena just after his debut recently. He’s only 22, but his maturity with the bat is worth seeing. Hridoy has been instrumental in the two T20 wins against Afghanistan in the recently-concluded series. He also left the field with a win in the last match of the ODI series. He scored a fifty in the first match. Although the team did not win. So this half century is worthless to Hridoy.

Talking to the media on Tuesday (July 18), he said, “Despite making fifty in ODIs, the results did not come in favor. I think this fifty is worthless. I will try to make better use of any such opportunity in the future. My role as a batter is to contribute to the team with the bat. I feel good if the team wins with my contribution. Not only me, every player likes it very much. Finishing the match actually gives a different feeling.”

Bangladesh had to be the losing team in the ODI series. But the ODI team isn’t bad, Hridoy also gave the message, "All preparations have been good since the Ireland series ended. ODI, Test, T20. Maybe the ODI series was not as expected. It is also positive, we will correct the mistakes and it will be good for the big event ahead. We can do.
