Heinrich Klaasen missed out as South Africa announce contract list for 2025-2026 season

The Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced their contract list for the 2025-2026 cricketing season. South Africa have roped in 18 players under the contract, which will last until May 2026.
The 18 players includes regulars like Temba Bavuma, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, and Kagiso Rabada. Included for the first time are Lizaad Williams, Senuran Muthusamy, and Kwena Maphaka.
Power hitters David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen have been handed hybrid contracts in this season, which means the players will be contacted to play in specific agreed-upon bilateral tours and ICC events.
“The hybrid contracts take into consideration the dynamic nature of modern-day cricket and will provide David and Rassie with the opportunity to contribute to the team during specific bilateral tours and ICC events" - Director of National Teams and High Performance Enoch Nkwe said.
Proteas Men’s Contracted list for 2025/26 season:
Temba Bavuma, David Bedingham, Nandre Burger, Gerald Coetzee, Tony de Zorzi, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kwena Maphaka, Aiden Markram, Wiaan Mulder, Senuran Muthusamy, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tristan Stubbs, Kyle Verreynne, and Lizaad Williams.
Hybrid Contracts for 2025/26 season:
David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen.
