A depleted West Indian ODI side now turns down to 14 members.
Walsh, asymptomatic, had tested negative on first batch of testings on arrival but later returned positive on the test carried on Wednesday (January 13).
"Walsh will remain in isolation until he returns two negative PCR test results and therefore is unavailable to play in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh," a Cricket West Indies release said.
"All other members of the West Indies touring squad returned second negative COVID-19 tests, after undergoing four tests within the last 11 days."
West Indies however started their training session on Thursday. Jason Mohammed-led team will meet Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in a 50-over warm-up on January 18, two days ahead of the first ODI against Bangladesh.
