There will be another courtesy meeting in the evening of the day as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is paying a single day visit in Kolkata to grace the occasion. "Tomorrow (Friday) Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina will be coming to the city to watch the India-Bangladesh cricket test match.

"I will meet Hasina twice at Eden Gardens, first in the afternoon and later in the evening during a cultural programme. Besides, there will be a courtesy meeting between us at 6 pm in Taj Bengal,”

Banerjee told reporters in Murshidabad and Kolkata on Thursday. Bangladesh Ministry of External Affairs also confirmed the news on Thursday saying, "The Bangladesh premier will watch the day and night cricket test match between India and Bangladesh in Kolkata on Friday." The agenda of the meeting, however, was not disclosed neither by the Chief Minister’s Office nor Bangladesh Prime Minister’s Office, even as sources in the state secretariat said premier issues such as Teesta water sharing might show up during the discussion. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also likely to attend the match. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who arrived in Kolkata on Friday morning, will officially inaugurate the first ever pink- ball Test match between the two teams at Eden Gardens. She was received by Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly at the airport. Newly appointed BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly had earlier invited honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh to witness the first Day/Night Test match to be played on Indian soil.
