Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf of Lahore Qalandars has been ruled out of the rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Rauf injured his shoulder yesterday (February 24) in the match against Karachi Kings. He will need 4 to 6 weeks to recover, hence not playing in PSL. 

"The medical panel, after consultation, concluded that he needs four to six weeks to recover, forcing him to miss the PSL season," Lahore Qalandars said in a statement.

Rauf was injured before the end of a very exciting match against Karachi Kings. Rauf had to move quite a bit in the run to take a catch from Hasan Ali. Rauf took the catch correctly and fell on the field. He got pain immediately. However, Rauf was brilliant in the match with the ball. But no one could prevent his team Lahore's fourth straight defeat.

Haris Rauf took 1 wicket at the cost of 22 runs in 4 overs. His team Lahore Qalandars lost to Karachi Kings by 2 wickets. With this, Lahore is at the very bottom of the points table after losing four matches in a row. After playing four matches and losing all of them, the current champions are yet to open the points book.

Haris Rauf has been a bit of a mess since the last ODI World Cup. He was not effective with the ball in the World Cup. Team Pakistan was also eliminated before the semi-finals. After that, he also lost the PCB's central contract as a result of the decision not to play Tests in the Australia series. New Zealand picked up 7 wickets in the series, but the economy rate was 10.61.
