The long-standing border stand-off between the two nations started a few months ago when the Chinese soldiers entered the Indian territory. The officials from both the nations were involved in a series of military-level talks after which the Chinese troops were confirmed to go back.
Nonetheless, they launched an attack on Indian soldiers which led to one more clash between the two nations. The Indian soldiers also retaliated and if sources doing the rounds are to be believed, as many as 43 Chinese soldiers suffered causalities.
After the face-off, Ministery of External Affairs said, "Given its responsible approach to border management, India is very clear that all its activities are always within the Indian side of the LAC. We expect the same of the Chinese side."
