Dutch-Bangla Bank has been confirmed as the title sponsor for the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), marking the first time the bank has taken on the role in this major T20 tournament. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced this through an official press release and held a press conference to unveil the season’s new BPL logo. This season’s official title is “Dutch-Bangla Bank BPL T20, Powered by Rocket, Co-Sponsored by NexusPay,” highlighting two of the bank’s most popular services, Rocket and NexusPay.

The press conference, held on November 6 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, was attended by BCB Director and BPL Governing Council Secretary Mr. Nazmul Abedeen Fahim, Dutch-Bangla Bank Managing Director Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, and renowned actor and Impress-Matra’s brand ambassador Mr. Afzal Hossain, who will oversee title and ground branding.

Dutch-Bangla Bank’s legacy with Bangladesh cricket is a longstanding one, dating back to its sponsorship of the country’s debut Test match. While the bank has been a title sponsor for several home series in the past, this will be its first involvement with BPL. The BPL Governing Council and BCB representatives expressed gratitude for Dutch-Bangla Bank’s support, emphasizing the bank’s significant role in enhancing the tournament’s appeal to youth.

In a significant upgrade, Impress-Matra announced that LED boards will replace traditional static boards around the field, enhancing the visibility of sponsor branding to meet the standards of top-tier global tournaments.
