MS Dhoni touched a rare feat of playing 250 T20 matches for a single team. On Sunday (14th April) against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium Dhoni became only the second player to touch this milestone.

Dhoni's total 250 appearances for Chennai Super Kings were also included by 24 matches in the CLT20. Dhoni came at the Wankhede's turf for the first time as non-captain of CSK. Dhoni came at the 20th over after his side was being invited to bat first infront of a raucous crowd.

Dhoni was facing Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya who snatched two wickets in the match, but Dhoni had no fear rather he smashed Hardik for 3 sixes on the trot and then took a double in the last ball to finish his innings on 20 off just 4 balls at a jaw dropping strike rate of 500. His quick-fire cameo aided CSK cruise pass over 200 mark barrier. 

Before Dhoni, it was Virat Kohli who has touched this feat as Kohli played all the matches for Royal Challengers Bangaluru, and also he captained the side for 12 seasons without winning any trophy, while Dhoni won 5 IPL titles including two Champions League T20.
