Bangla Tigers played their last game against Chennai Braves where they scored 126/5 on the board. Their bowlers restricted Chennai Braves to 99/6 and won the match by 27 runs.
Getting through the group stage is an achievement but both the Deccan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers will feel that they have not yet reached the heights they are capable of in this year's Abu Dhabi T10.
Both teams are now just three wins away from winning the tournament, and for the Gladiators that would mean winning back-to-back titles! After finishing third and fourth in the group stage, both now need to move up a level or two in order to challenge for the trophy.
When the two teams met late last month, it was the Bangla Tigers who took the win and the two points by a margin of 20 runs.

The Gladiators have had the bragging rights of champions at times this campaign, but they come into this eliminator having lost by six wickets to Morrisville Samp Army in their final group stage game on Wednesday.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore andNicholas Pooran got off to a quick start in the innings but neither of them could reach double figures. Andre Fletcher was the key batsman on Wednesday with 52 not out from 27 balls and he will look to build on his five sixes from that innings in this knockout game.
The bowling unit only needed four wickets against Morrisville, but in this must-win game we expect Luke Wood and Trent Boult to line up with the new ball.
Bangla Tigers
The Bangla Tigers were unremarkable throughout the season, but still slipped to fourth place and the knockout rounds. They picked up their fourth win of the season with a 27-run win over the Chennai Braves on Thursday.
Sri Lankan duo Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka scored at strike rates of over 210 and both scored in the 30s. We could well imagine Mendis being promoted to opener in this game.
The surface remains unchanged and it depends on how players approach their game on a given day. As usual, the batters benefit more while the bowlers are likely to be on the receiving end.
