Chittagong Kings crashed Durbar Rajshahi down by 111 runs on Monday (January 19) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Fifty from Naeem Islam and quick-fire innings from Graham Clark and Haider Ali helped them get to a massive 191 on the board. In reply, an inspired bowling performance from handed them a thrashing 111 runs victory.
Being inserted to bat first, Usman Khan departed cheaply. But Naeem Islam and Graham Clark forged a fantastic 84 runs stand together. Naeem brought up a fine 56 off 41 deliveries, whereas Graham Clark made a quick-fire 45 off 28 balls. After their departure, Mohammad Mithun and Haider Ali played little blitz innings as the duo steered the hosts to a formidable total of 191 runs. Mithun made 32 off 20 balls, whereas Haider scored 25 off 14 deliveries.
In reply, Durbar Rajshahi had no clue infront of Chittagong Kings bowlers. Wickets kept tumbling and every bowler from Chittagong Kings chipped in away with atleast one wicket. Anamul Haque was there and made 21 off 21 balls but no-one showed any intent to fight against the Kings as the hosts claimed a very easy win over Durbar Rajshahi by 111 runs.
Shoriful Islam and Naeem Islam shared two wickets each, whereas Binura Fernando, Arafat Sunny, Khaled Ahmed, Rahatul Ferdous and Shamim Hossain chipped in with one wicket each.
