India's spinner Ravi Bishnoi reached a significant milestone during India's victory over Bangladesh in the third T20I on Wednesday (October 9), securing his 50th wicket in T20I cricket. Bishnoi's performance, which included three crucial wickets, helped India whitewash Bangladesh 3-0 in the series.

Reflecting on the achievement, Bishnoi said, "Happy to reach this small milestone. Healthy competition is good pressure. I wasn't under pressure but didn't want to let go of the opportunity given tonight." One of his standout moments was dismissing Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, a wicket he had clearly planned. "I knew Shanto would play reverse sweep early because he likes it. I spotted it before releasing it."

Bishnoi's strategic thinking and execution were evident throughout the match, despite the challenging conditions in Hyderabad. He acknowledged the difficulty of the pitch, noting, "Hyderabad is a tough wicket but you have to accept it as a bowler and find a way to succeed." His recent form was bolstered by a productive break, as he shared, "Back home, I had a 50-day break so wanted to work on a few good things. You'll get to see it the more I play."

India posted a massive total of 297/6, led by Sanju Samson's explosive 111 off just 47 balls, supported by Suryakumar Yadav's quickfire 75. Bangladesh, in response, managed 164/7, with Towhid Hridoy top-scoring with 63*. Bishnoi’s brilliant spell of 3/30, including the key wicket of Shanto, further tightened India’s grip on the game.
