Anamul Haque Bijoy hit his second century in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) 2024-25, which helped Gazi Group Cricketers beat Gulshan Cricket Club by four wickets.  His unbeaten innings of 144 runs off of 142 balls led his team to an easy chase of a difficult target.

Gulshan Cricket Club won the toss and chose to bat first in the game, which took place at BKSP's Ground No. 4.  In the 50 overs they were given, their batting order put up a good score of 281 for 8.  Litton Das scored an amazing 83 runs off of just 62 balls, and Azizul Hakim Tamim added a steady 53 runs off of 76 balls.  Mohammad Ilyas was very important in the lower order; he was unbeaten on 38 off 44 balls.  Two wickets were taken by Abdul Gaffar Saqlain, Abdul Hashem, and Aminul Islam Biplob for the Gazi Group Cricketers.

After that, Gazi Group Cricketers got off to a good start thanks to Bijoy and Sadikur Rahman's strong opening combination.  They scored 106 runs together before Sadikur scored 45 off 40 balls, just short of his fifty.  However, wickets kept falling regularly from the other end, which made it hard to win.

But Bijoy didn't seem to be affected.  He held on to one end tightly and timed his strokes perfectly, making a well-made hundred.  He didn't slow down even after he hit century, and he sped up when needed to get his team to the finish line.  Gazi Group won the game with 10 balls to spare thanks to his match-winning 144*.

The best bowler for Gulshan Cricket Club was Mohammad Ilyas, who took three wickets, but Bijoy's performance was too good for him to stop.
