India's experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a terrible day at the office during the first T20I against Australia, which took place at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, located in Mohali.
The right-arm fast bowler failed to bring the best out of himself with the ball and ended up getting battered by Australian batsmen during the run-chase. Bhuvneshwar bowled all the four overs and conceded too many runs.
The veteran paceman conceded 52 runs and had an expensive economy rate of 13, which is really too much considering a player of his caliber. The Australian batters easily smacked the bowlers for boundaries and maximums and made it look so easy.
Australia got the better of Team India by 4 wickets in the first game and took the opening lead in the series. The require one more clinical performance to win the series. However, India will surely make a rebound in the must-win game.
The second T20I is scheduled to be held on September 23, Friday at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. After the game, several fans took to social media and abused Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Meanwhile, the fast bowler's wife by the name of Nupur Nagar shared a bold message on the micro-blogging Instagram portal poking fun at the abusers.
“Nowadays, people are so worthless, that they have nothing better to do and have so much time to spread hate and envy… My advise to all those is – nobody is affected by your words or care about your existence. So please spend that time in making yourself better, though there is very less scope for that!!” Bhuvneshwar Kumar's wife wrote in a Instagram story.
Meanwhile, Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma after the T20I opener said, "We were not able to take that extra wicket. That was the turning point, if we would have taken another wicket, things would have been different. You can't score 200 everyday, you need to bat well. Hardik batted really well to get us there. We need to look at our bowling before the next game."
