England captain Ben Stokes has become the fastest Englishman to score a Test fifty. He reached to the landmark during the onslaught over the West Indies in the third Test match at the Edgbaston, where the English side thumped West Indies by 10 wickets.
Ben Stokes opened the innings in reply to West Indies' 82, he showed the range of his strokeplay. He struck the ball all around, spared no one who came up against him and raced along to notch up the fastest fifty by an Englishman (24 balls). He also has become the joint-third fastest fifty in the history of Test Cricket.

The southpaw unbeaten on 57* runs off only 27 balls, including nine fours and two massive sixes. The hosts won the game by 10 wickets while chasing 82. England completed a 3-0 clean sweep over the clueless visiting team, West Indies.
