Batting first, Bangladesh posted a competitive 217/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Tamim anchored the innings with a solid 75, while Debashish Sarkar Deba contributed a vital 40 runs. India's Samarth claimed two wickets, with Kartikeya chipping in with one.

In response, India U-19 faltered, bowled out for 190 in 39.5 overs. Siddharth remained unbeaten with a fighting 56, and Aman added 30, but it wasn’t enough. Tamim shone with the ball as well, taking 4 wickets for just 15 runs, while Raf Uzzaman Rafi bagged two scalps to seal the win.

The victory sets the tone for Bangladesh’s campaign in the U-19 Asia Cup, where they will face Afghanistan in their opening match on November 29. Nepal and Sri Lanka round out their group, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals of the 50-over tournament.
