Bangladesh U19 team wrapped up a decisive series win against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), sealing the five-match ODI series 3-0 in Dhaka. Despite rain washing out the first two matches, the young Tigers left no doubts about their dominance, securing victory with a commanding 8-wicket win in the third match, a resounding 183-run triumph in the fourth, and finishing strong with a 9-wicket victory in the final match.

In the fifth ODI, held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, UAE won the toss and opted to bat first. Yet, a series of early batting failures left them reeling, and they were bowled out for just 137 in 40.3 overs. Only two UAE players reached double figures, with Uddish Suri scoring 29 off 33 balls and Yayin Kiran Rai contributing 23 off 40 balls.

Bangladesh’s Debasish Sarker delivered an impressive performance with the ball, claiming four wickets to dismantle UAE’s lineup. Al Fahad, Sad Islam Rajin, Samiun Basir Tarul, Farhan Shahriar, and Rizan Hossain each added a wicket to keep the UAE’s score within reach.

In response, the Bangladesh U19 squad showed poise and control, chasing down the target in just 20.4 overs with only one wicket lost. Zawad Abrar provided an exciting start, scoring a brisk 41 off 46 balls with three sixes and three fours. After Abrar’s departure, captain Kalam Siddiki Aleen and Shahrial Azmir Turjo guided the team to victory with ease. Alin remained unbeaten on 41 off 42 balls, while Turjo contributed a composed 39 off 37 balls, securing a clean sweep for Bangladesh.
