In a significant move ahead of the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League, Bangla Tigers have named former Pakistan cricket legend Younis Khan as their head coach. The franchise confirmed the news through an official post on their Facebook page, stirring excitement among fans.

Bangla Tigers have been active in their preparations, assembling a formidable squad filled with star players. The team has secured key signings, including two of Bangladesh's cricketing icons—Shakib Al Hasan and Towhid Hridoy. Other notable additions to the Tigers' lineup include Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, England's Liam Livingstone, Pakistan’s Iftikhar Ahmed, and the likes of David Payne, Mir Hamza, and Mohammad Shahzad.

The decision to appoint Younis Khan as head coach underscores the franchise's intent to perform well in the upcoming season. Younis, who had a long and illustrious career with Pakistan, captained the national side and is regarded as one of the finest batsmen in the history of Pakistan cricket.

After his playing days, Younis took on several coaching roles. Although initially set to become the coach of Pakistan's U19 team, he couldn’t finalize terms with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He also served briefly as the batting coach of the Pakistan national team and worked as a batting consultant for the Afghanistan national team during a 15-day training camp. Younis has further coaching experience as a mentor with Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Now, he is set to bring his experience and leadership to the Bangla Tigers as their head coach for the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The combination of Younis' tactical expertise and a star-studded squad will make the Bangla Tigers a team to watch in the upcoming season.
