Australia women have thrashed Bangladesh women by 77 runs to complete the whitewash job on Thursday (4th April) at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Quick-fire 45 and 44 from skipper Alyssa Healy and lower order batter Tahila McGrath helped Aussies post 155-6 on the board. In reply, Tayla Vlaeminck's exceptional spell ripped through Bangladesh women.

Opting to bat first, Alyssa Healy came with all guns blazing, smashing the Bangladeshi women all around the park to race her way to 45 off just 29 deliveries. Her innings was orchestrated with 1 maximum and 6 boundaries. Australia had a collapse after the tornado of Healy and were reeling at 98-5.

But Tahila McGrath and Grace Harris' 57 run stand helped them hole out from deep trouble. Tahila McGrath especially was at her peak and made a swashbuckling 44* off 29 balls to help Aussies post 155-6 on the board.

In reply, Bangladesh women were never in the chase. Megan Schutt started the riot picking up the wicket of Murshida Khatun on 1. Gardner had another opener, Vlaeminck got Ritu Moni and Bangladesh were succumbing on death.

Captain Nigar Sultana stood for a while and scored 32 off 31 balls, barring her no one really was in the game and couldn’t step up infront of the quality Aussie attack. And Bangladesh women's were bowled out for a measly 78-10 and lost the game by 77 runs.
