Australia rest senior players and name a completely new-look squad for Pakistan T20I series
The Test stars will miss the T20I's, which made a vacuum in the leadership position. As a result Australia will have a new captain in this series.

Josh Inglis, Adam Zampa and Matt Short are in the talks to fill the shoes in for Mitchell Marsh as T20 skipper against Pakistan.
Australia T20 squad for Pakistan series: Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Aaron Hardie, Josh Inglis, Spencer Johnson, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa.
None of the T20 squad announced today have captained Australia in any format before.
Andre Borovec will coach the side as head coach Andrew McDoland and his regular assistants Michael di Venuto and Dan Vettori will be busy for the ODI's and Test summer.
Pakistan T20 squad for Australia tour: Mohammad Rizwan (Captain), Abbas Afridi, Agha Salman, Arafat Minhas, Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah Khan, Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan, Naseem Shah, Omair Yousuf, Sahibzada Farhan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan.
Schedule of the series:
- November 14: Gabba, 7.00pm AEDT
- November 16: SCG: 7.00pm AEDT
- November 18: Bellerive Oval, Hobart, 7.00pm AEDT
The last T20I is on November 18 in Hobart. While the first Test match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy commences from November 22 in Perth Stadium. As a result, Australia will miss their seniors services in this T20I series.
