England have dominated West Indies on the first day of first Test. It was a dream debut for Gus Atkinson as he claimed 7 wickets to sent visitors packing 121. James Anderson, who's playing his final Test also scalped a wicket of Jayden Seales.

Being asked to bat first in the morning, debutant opener Mikyle Louis played with lot courage and solid techniques. After the lunch break, Gus Atkinson picked up 3 wickets in an over and West Indies never recovered from that position. Mikyle Louis was the top run-scorer for the team in the innings as he made 27. West Indies posted 121 on the board and Gus Atkinson was the pick of the bowlers as he had 7 wickets to his name.
In reply, West Indies started well by removing Ben Duckett earlier on. But the opener Zak Crawley and number three batter Ollie Pope stitched a solid 94 run stand to sort out the initial blow. Crawley was knocked out to Seales after scoring a brisk 76 off just 89 deliveries. While Pope made 57 off 74 deliveries.
Currently England are on 189-3 and are leading the innings by 68 runs with Joe Root and Harry Brook on the crease. With 7 wickets in hands, England will be hoping to add more 200 runs on the board to kill the match inside the first innings.
