His impressive bowling performance helped India restrict Bangladesh to a modest total of 127 runs in Gwalior on Sunday (October 6). India comfortably chased the target in just 11.5 overs, with contributions from captain Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya.

Reflecting on his performance, Arshdeep said, "There was some breeze from the side I was bowling, so I used that. I didn't get the wickets the way I wanted, but that's okay. It's just minor changes in the run-up, in the wrist. It's just exploring how I can get better and trying out things." He added, "The experience is there. The more you play, the better you get. Really excited the way everyone bowled, especially Mayank. Even my normal balls felt like slower balls compared to his pace."

In the match, Mayank Yadav also impressed with his pace, taking 1 wicket and conceding only 21 runs in his 4 overs. Arshdeep highlighted the importance of adapting to different conditions in the T20 format, stating, "In this format, the best thing you can do is adapt to different pitches and conditions."

India's chase was led by strong performances from Hardik Pandya, who smashed an unbeaten 39 off just 16 balls, and captain Suryakumar Yadav, who contributed 29 off 14 balls. Suryakumar praised the team's character, saying, "The way the guys showed their character on the field, first time playing on a new ground, and the way we batted, showed our character."
