Alyssa Healy played four games for Sydney Sixers in the WBBL|10 and she has been ruled out of the tournament after suffering a knee injury. However, Sydney Sixers have announced Frankie Nicklin as the replacement for Healy ahead of the clash against their derby clash against Sydney Thunders.
Alyssa Healy, the Australian skipper had approached the tenth edition of the WBBL with a foot injury. She had sustained this injury during the ICC Women's 2024 T20 World Cup which resulted in her missing out on a couple of matches for Australia including the semi-final against South Africa, which Australia lost and were out of the World Cup. Also she missed the initial matches for the Sydney Sixers.
Albeit, after her return to action for the Sydney Sixers, the batter failed to make any impact with the bat, as she managed to get only 20 runs in four innings, which is a rare slump for the wicketkeeper batter with the bat.
