New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell and Australian Keeper batsman Alex Carey on Friday signed up for the upcoming tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Australia's wicketkeeper Alex Carey has officially registered for the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 Player Draft. "Australia's wicketkeeper Alex Carey has officially registered for the HBL PSL Draft," the franchise league announced on Thursday.

Carey, who has been an integral part of the Australian Test team, is currently playing in the ongoing five-match Test series against India. With an impressive record across all formats, Carey has represented Australia in 35 Tests, 76 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 38 T20 Internationals (T20Is). He has scored a total of 3,712 runs, including two centuries and 19 half-centuries.

According to the information, the 10th season of the domestic premium tournament was also in focus before the draw was held in Gwadar on January 11. Daryl Mitchell, the son of former New Zealand rugby union player John Mitchell, had represented the Black Caps in 31 Tests, 39 ODIs and 67 T20Is.

For those unaware, Alex Carey is the ninth foreign player to register for the upcoming 10th edition of this top-flight league. He is joined by fellow countryman Usman Khawaja, England's Tom Curran, David Willey, Dawid Malan and Jason Roy, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman from Bangladesh and Sikandar Raza from Zimbabwe.
