New format, new challenge for Afghanistan against the dynamic Tigers

This is the first time Bangladesh are playing Afghanistan in Test cricket. Overall, this is Afghanistan's third-ever match in the format and their first match away from India. Chattogram track is expected to be a typical rank turner. The weather will also play a factor as there is rain forecast for each day of this Test match. Bangladesh have backed their all-spin tactics which means Nayeem Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam are playing alongside skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who will also eye to take No.1 all-rounder spot in the ICC rankings. Mosaddek Hossain has returned to Test team after over one and a half year. Afghanistan have possessed a similar combination to seal a historic moment in the match.
