Canadian model Yesha Sagar has made serious allegations against the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Chittagong Kings.  Yesha revealed that she left Bangladesh before the end of BPL due to delayed payments, contract violations, and even passport-related complications.

Yesha claimed that Chittagong Kings failed to pay her full remuneration. The franchise also pressured her into doing promotional work that was not part of her contract.

"I've noticed a lot of speculation lately, and I want to clarify a few things about my time with the BPL. Payments from Chittagong Kings were delayed and remain partially unpaid. I was also asked to participate in an advertisement for one of their partners, which was not part of my contract," Yesha wrote.

The situation worsened when her passport was allegedly withheld by the franchise. " My visa expired on January 19th, and despite repeated assurances, it was never extended. They held onto my passport for two weeks, providing me with conflicting answers each time. After multiple follow-ups, I finally received it back without a visa," she stated.

Yesha was shocked to receive a legal notice from the franchise after she received the passport. Yesha claimed it was unjustified and contradictory to her original agreement. " The very same night I got my passport, just a couple of hours later, I received a legal notice that was highly inappropriate and contained contradictions to my original contract. Given all that was happening, and knowing I was in the country under the franchise's responsibility, I didn't feel safe and decided to leave after consulting with a few local well-wishers," she explained.

Despite the bitter experience, Yesha expressed her love for Bangladeshi fans and the country's passion for cricket. "I am overwhelmed by the support from the people of Bangladesh. I loved every moment I spent in this cricket-loving nation and am grateful for all the love. However, professionalism and transparency are my priorities. I hope to return one day and meet all my amazing fans. Until then, thank you for the support I truly appreciate the support from the Bangladesh fans and everyone who has been following my journey around the world. I've loved my time in this cricket-loving country, and I'm grateful for every moment spent there. However, professionalism and transparency always come first. I hope to return one day to see all my fans again. Until then, thank you for all the support!,” she concluded.
