Virat Kohli takes a stunning catch to dismiss Mitchell MarshMitchell Marsh who is one of the most aggressive batsmen at the crease was taken aback by Bumrah's sudden bounce. The right-handed batsman got an outside edge in the follow-through and the ball carried towards the slip.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli ensured to take the catch in his safe pair of hands. The incident happened during the second ball of the third over when Bumrah bowled a short-of-a-length ball which had a bounce outside off, which tempted Mitchell Marsh to play but ended up getting an edge.
In the process, Virat Kohli made a full-blooded dive towards his left and then grabbed it with both hands. The video clip of the same has been doing the rounds on the internet. Mitchell Marsh made his way back to the dressing room after getting dismissed for a duck.

Earlier, Pat Cummins, after winning the toss said, "We'll bat first, looks like a good wicket. The sun is out and looks like a good afternoon to bat. We are in a really good spot, we have played quite a lot of cricket but we got a good balance of giving guys game time and keeping them fresh. Travis Head is on a couch in Adelaide, Abbott, Stoinis and Inglis miss out."
"The conditions are there for the bowlers and the ball will turn as the game goes on, you need to understand what line and lengths to bowl and adjust accordingly. We played a lot of cricket before that, we played two good series before the warm-up games, we have covered all bases. Unfortunately, Shubman Gill didn't recover in time, we waited till today morning and he couldn't recover. Ishan comes in to replace him, he will open the batting," Rohit Sharma said after the toss.
