The one off Test between Ireland and Zimbabwe set up nicely despite being affected by rain once again. All the results are possible at the moment. Ireland scored 250 in pursuit of Zimbabwe's 210, and had a lead of 40 runs on the day 2.

Zimbabwe are trailing by 28 runs after day 2 in Belfest Test. Ireland started well with Peter Moor and Andrew Balbirnie added 71 runs in the opening stand. Curtis Campher and Harry Tector fell cheaply as Ireland crumbled from 115-2 to 189-7 as Tanaka Chivanga, Sean Williams and Blessing Muzarabani doing all the damage.

Ireland's middle and lower middle order collapsed horribly but Andy McBrine scored a crucial 28 off 45 deliveries. The last wicket pair of McBrine and Matthew Humphreys added 47 runs and gave the hosts a pivotal 40 runs lead. Blessing Muzarabani and Tanaka Chivanga were the pick of the bowlers, as they shared 3 wickets each. While Tendai Chatara and Sean Williams had two each.  

Zimbabwe leaked away lots of extras - 59 runs, while the 42 extras were conceded by Madande. Zimbabwe needed to negotiate the final 15 minutes and Joylord Gumbie and Prince Masvaure did it well.

Zimbabwe need atleast 200 on the board to put some pressure on the hosts in the final innings, while Ireland will be hoping to wrap up things inside 200 runs.
