Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav stunned the cricket fraternity by playing a fearless brand of cricket in the series decider against Australia at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Virat Kohli praises Suryakumar YadavThe flamboyant cricketer took the Australian bowling attack to the cleaners with such ease. He hit sixes and fours when it mattered the most and eased the pressure on the team during the run-chase of 187.
The right-handed batsman top-scored for the team with a match-winning 69 off 36 balls. He hit 5 fours and as many maximums at a spectacular strike-rate of 191.67. He was named the man of the match for his knock.
At the post-match presentation, Suryakumar spoke about his mindset while coming to bat at No.4 "In that situation I thought let me take my chance. I had two three shots in mind but I tried to hit over mid-off only. My mindset is pretty clear. Loving it at No. 4. There will be tough challenge but you got to express yourself and been a little smart as well," he added.

Meanwhile, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli reserved the highest respect for Suryakumar Yadav after India defeated Australia by 6 wickets in third T20I. Kohli said he was in awe watching Suryakumar play his shots.
Both Kohli and Suryakumar dictated terms in the run-chase and the duo added 104-run match-winning partnership for the third wicket.
"Absolute clarity in what he wants to do. He has the game to bat under any sort of situation and any condition. He has shown that already. He got a hundred in England, he batted beautifully in the Asia Cup.
"Here, he's striking the ball as well as I have seen him strike. For the past 6 months, he's been outstanding. It's the array of shots and to play those shots at the right time is such a tremendous skill. He's a guy who knows his game inside out. He's got the gift of timing and I was in awe watching him play his shots," Kohli added.
