Discarded national team fast bowler Mohammad Shahid denied to accept the intermediary of BCB to reunion with his wife. Shahid’s wife Farzana Akter woefully plead to the highest authority of cricket in Bangladesh to ask Shahid to stop the torment he is inflicting upon his family and bring her back into home with two innocent children. The members of both families were supposed to meet to negotiate about the issue in the first week of August but neither Mohammad Shahid nor any of his family members went to Farzana’s paternal residence in Munshiganj where she has been staying with her daughters. Reports said Mohammad Shahid threatened not to take Farzana again in in law’s home even if he will have to spend 10 lac taka. National team manager Khaled Mahmud Shujon told to one of the online portals of the country that he tried to manage Mohammad Shahid but he did not pay any heed to his words. Mohammad Shahid lashed his wife Farzana Akter away from home two days before Eid – ul – Fitr with his two baby girls. On 9th of July, the helpless lady went to Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon and asked for BCB’s assistance to deal with Mohammad Shahid.
