The devastating floods in Feni have trapped relatives of Bangladeshi all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin, who is currently in the area himself. The situation is dire, with no electricity and mobile phones running out of charge, leaving them cut off from the outside world. In this critical time, Saifuddin, known as the 'Feni Express,' has called for government assistance.

As Feni is submerged, many are trying to reach Saifuddin via phone to check on him. However, with power outages, low battery, and disrupted network services, communication has been challenging. Unable to respond to everyone, Saifuddin resorted to sharing a video on Facebook to highlight the disastrous situation in Feni. With fear in his eyes, he ended the brief video by asking for prayers.

In the video, he stated, "The entire city is without electricity. After much effort, I managed to charge my phone slightly. Many from Dhaka may be trying to reach out. Your relatives in various areas of Feni are in dire straits. The situation is terrible—no electricity, no water. Please do whatever you can. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stay connected as my phone is running out of charge. Please pray for us."

Saifuddin also expressed his frustration in the caption of his post, appealing for help. He wrote, "All day long, I have not seen any government rescue teams or food supplies for the flood-affected people. This is truly heartbreaking. Save Feni. Many of my relatives are trapped in my village home."

The floods, triggered by continuous rain, worsened when India opened the Dumboor gate in Tripura for the first time in 31 years, causing a sudden surge of water that inundated large parts of Bangladesh, including Cumilla, Feni, Noakhali, and Chattogram. Feni has been the hardest hit, with locals saying they haven't seen such devastating floods since 1988. The army and navy have been deployed for rescue operations, while volunteers are also working tirelessly to assist the flood victims.
