Reserve day available for T20 World Cup semifinals and final
The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be held on November 10. The second semi-final will be played on November 11. The final will be held on November 14.

The ICC T20 World Cup will start on October 17. International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced reserve days for the semi-finals and finals of this shortest format World Cup.
Several matches in the 2019 ODI World Cup were abandoned due to rain. Then there was the demand for reserve days in global events and big tournaments. In continuation of this, there will be reserve days in the upcoming T20 World Cup. However, it is only for the semifinals and finals.
The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be held on November 10. The second semi-final will be played on November 11. The final will be held on November 14. In all these three matches, one reserve day has been kept.
Meanwhile, in order to complete the match in the T20 format, it is mandatory to play 5 overs per innings, but the ICC has made it a rule that at least 10 overs should be played per innings in the semi-finals and finals.
In the World Cup semi-finals and finals, the Duckworth-Lewis method requires a minimum of 10 overs per innings. Besides, this time the teams will be able to take two reviews in each innings of each match. This is the first time that a decision review system or DRS technology will be used in the T20 World Cup.
